Matt Dillon, born February 18, 1964 in New Rochelle, New York, to a mother and father who were both children of Catholic immigrants from Ireland. His grandmother’s brother was the creator of the comic strip “Flash Gordon”. He has won numerous awards, including an Independent Spirit Award for his role in “Drugstore Cowboy” and one for his role in “Crash.” He was also in “My Bodyguard,” “The Flamingo Kid,” and “One Night at McCool’s.” He lives in New York City and runs through Central Park regularly.
