Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on November 29, 1961, actress Kim Delaney was first in the public eye in 1981 in the soap opera “All My Children.” She also played Detective Diane Russell on NYPD Blue and was nominated for a Satellite Award for Best Actress in a TV Series Drama for her role as Kathleen Maguire in “Philly” in 2002. She has been married twice, and has one son. She was arrested in Malibu for drunk driving in 2002, and in 2011, she had to be escorted off the stage where a speech she was giving made no sense and her speech was slurred, giving rise to reports that she had an alcohol problem.
