Vincent D’Onofrio, actor, director, writer, and singer, was born June 30, 1959 in Brooklyn, New York. When his parents divorced, his mother and siblings moved to Florida. His breakthrough role was in "Full Metal Jacket" and he later had a starring role in "Law & Order: Criminal Intent." The character actor gained 70 pounds in order to portray Private Lawrence in “Full Metal Jacket,” making him the record holder for most pounds gained for a movie, a record which used to belong to Robert De Niro, who gained 60 pounds for "Raging Bull." He is married to a model from the Netherlands, and they have two sons.
