Comedian Chevy Chase was born Cornelius Crane Chase on October 8, 1943 in Lower Manhattan. He was one of the original cast members in the first season of Saturday Night Live, and after he left that show, he starred in four National Lampoon “Vacation” movies as Clark Griswold as well as “Caddyshack,” “Fletch,” and “Three Amigos.” He is active in environmental causes and raises money for Democrat candidates. He took a shot at a late night talk show called “The Chevy Chase Show. The father of three daughters, Chevy lives with his wife, Jayni, in Bedford, New York.
