Born on April 3, 1924 in Omaha, Nebraska, American actor Marlon Brando’s movies include “A Streetcar Named Desire,” “On the Waterfront,” “The Godfather,” and “Apocalypse Now.” Marlon was 11 and living in Evanston, Illinois when his parents separated, at which time his mother took him and his two siblings to Santa Ana, California to stay with her mother. Two years later, his parents reconciled and the family moved to a suburb of Chicago. He died July 1, 2004 of respiratory failure in Los Angeles, leaving behind 13 of his 15 children and more than 25 grandchildren.
