Arthur William Bell, better known as Art Bell, is an American broadcaster and author, as well as one of the founders and the original host of the Coast to Coast AM radio show, which often carries paranormal themes. He also founded and was the original owner of the Pahrump, Nevada radio station, KNYE, which was located near his home. Bell announced his retirement from Coast to Coast in 2007, but often served as a guest host up until 2010. In 2013, he debuted his new show "Dark Matter" on Sirius, XM but it ended after a dispute with the company. In July 2015, he returned to radio with "Midnight in the Desert," and in December of 2015 he announced he was stepping down again after numerous incidents on and near his property during his show.
