Sir James Paul McCartney was born in Liverpool, England, June 18, 1942. He is known better as Paul McCartney, is a British musician, singer, composer, and songwriter and a founding member of the Beatles. He has sold more than 100 million albums and 100 million singles and holds the record for being “most successful composer and recording artist of all time.” He has been married three times, the first one ending when his wife Linda died of breast cancer, the second in divorce, and the third is still intact.
