Actor Scott Bakula is known for his character, Sam Beckett in the "Quantum Leap" television series, also played Captain Jonathan Archer in the "Star Trek: Enterprise" series. He was born on October 9, 1954 in St. Louis, Missouri. He went to school to study law but left and moved to Regional/North-America/United-States/States/New-York/Cities-Towns/New-York/New York City in 1976 where he began his career in show business. He has lived on a farm in upstate New York, and in Ojai, California but now lives in Los Angeles with his partner Chelsea Field and their two sons.
