Actress Kirstie Alley was born January 12, 1951 in Wichita, Kansas. She played Rebecca Howe in the television series "Cheers," for which she won both an Emmy and a Golden Globe Award. She is also known for her movie roles in "Look Who's Talking" and its sequels and several reality shows including "Dancing with the Stars." A self-admitted former cocaine addict, she ended her dependency through Scientology and that group’s drug treatment program Narconon. She admits to "eating obsessively" her whole life, but she says that she didn't have a weight problem until she reached menopause in 1922. Kirstie, a lifelong Democrat, announced via Twitter in 2015 that she would not be supporting the Democrat Party's nominee in the 2016 presidential election. In 2016, she tweeted that she would be supporting Republican nominee and billionaire real estate developer Donald Trump.
