Prolactin, or Luteotropic hormone is a hormone which regulates lactation. Too much prolactin causes fertility problems with both men and women and can use menstrual regulation problems in women. Prolactin inhibitors are used to treat medical problems which occur when too much prolactin is produced by the pituitary gland.
