Antihypertensive combinations, usually diuretic and beta blockers given together in low dosage, are recommended as therapy for hypertension. Other combinations include ACE inhibitors and diuretics, angiotensin-II antagonists and diuretics, calcium channel blockers and ACE inhibitors, or diuretics and potassium-sparing diuretics.
