Antitoxins are antibodies which are capable of destroying microorganisms including viruses and bacteria. Antivenins are antibodies which are created in the blood of a horse or sheep after the animal has been injected with snake venom. Antinvenins work by neutralizing the venom. Antivenin is also known as antivenom, or snake antivenin.
